January — God’s Design for Marriage
Day 1: A Helper Fit for You
Genesis 2:18 — It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.

Insight
God designed marriage as a covenant of partnership. “Helper” (ezer) is a title used of God Himself—strong, present help. Marriage isn’t about completion but co-mission: walking with God together.
Personal Reflection
For Him
Where can I shift from doing it alone to inviting and honoring my wife’s strength today?
For Her
Where is God inviting me to bring my God-given strength with confidence and grace today?
Together
Name one way you see God’s gift in each other. Speak it aloud.
Transformation & Application
Choose one practical act of honor today— a task, a listening moment, or a word of blessing— that lifts your spouse’s burden.
Prayer
Lord, You designed our hearts for togetherness. Teach us to honor one another as gifts of Your grace. Let our marriage reflect Your love. Amen.
