By accessing or using the Two Become One marriage devotional platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Covenant Redeemer Church ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Two Become One is a free, faith-based marriage devotional platform that provides daily SMS messages containing Scripture, devotional content, reflection prompts, and prayers designed to help couples grow closer to God and each other. The Service includes a 365-day devotional journey delivered via text messaging.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including names and phone numbers for both spouses. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. SMS Messaging and Opt-Out

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receive automated text messages from us. Message frequency varies but typically includes one message per day. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply HELP for assistance or START to resume messages. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Service, including but not limited to devotional texts, Scripture references, prayers, and other materials, is the property of Covenant Redeemer Church or its content providers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covenant Redeemer Church and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Covenant Redeemer Church and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the jurisdiction where Covenant Redeemer Church is located.
